Even when the doctor told me and Kevin "It's a girl" without hesitation....I still had a hard time wrapping my head around it. For some reason in all the times I had pictured my family, I always saw me, Kevin and 3 boys. Even as I decorated her room and went back and forth over her name.....I still questioned it! :)
It wasn't until I was laying there right after she was born listening to her cry (scream) that I realized no one has told me it's a boy....... silly I know but that's the first time SHE became real......and she is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I just keep looking at her saying wow......now our family is COMPLETE.
Caleb ADORES his sister and is quite worried that she will grow when he is ever away. He's worried that I am feeding her too much. "Mom.....if you keep feeding her she will get big!" I think watching his "baby" cousin Matthew grow so fast over this past year has him scared! Caleb.....you are a PRECIOUS little boy and brother.
Landon is starting to warm up to her. I think in the hospital he was a little overwhelmed, but since she's been home he gives her kisses and wants to help me take care of her! I am looking forward to spending some quiet days with Emalynn and Landon during these next few weeks!
Emalynn had LOTS of visitors these past few days! Here are some pictures of family and friends who WE LOVE so much. Thank you for all of your prayers, encouragement, support and love.
